Salary: $64,000 – $82,000 per year
Job Type: Start at Part-time; Desire to grow into Full-time
Schedule: Must include two evenings until 6:30 PM

The Nurturing Space Counseling, PLLC is a trauma-informed boutique private practice in Traverse City, MI. We specialize in relational treatment through EMDR, Brainspotting, and somatic approaches. We’re looking for a warm, highly relational Trauma Therapist to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person and telehealth clinical assessment and psychotherapy to adolescents, teens, and adults

  • Maintain a caseload of 20–25 clients per week

  • Collaborate with a supportive and skilled team of clinicians for regular consultation and growth

  • Attend team meetings and contribute to our inclusive, nurturing culture

Qualifications:

Required:

  • LMSW, LPC, LLMSW, or LLPC licensure in the State of Michigan

  • Clinical experience with some or all of the following:

    • Complex trauma

    • Gender identity

    • Eating disorders

    • Personality disorders

    • Substance use

    • Anxiety and depression

    • Perinatal mental health

    • Attachment and relationship issues

  • Available at least 3 days/week, including 2 evenings until 6:30pm

Preferred:

  • Trained or certified in EMDR and/or Brainspotting

  • Specialization in trauma, substance use disorders (CAADC), and/ or eating disorders

  • Understanding of attachment-based therapy and parts work

  • Credentialed with BCBS or BCN (strongly preferred)
